Our Legacy

For over four decades, Syarikat Logam Unitrade Sdn Bhd has been one of Malaysia’s most trusted names in construction and engineering supply.

Founded in 1979, Unitrade has played a vital role in shaping Malaysia’s infrastructure — from airports and highways to hospitals, factories, and high-rise developments.

Today, that same expertise continues under a new chapter: empowering Malaysia’s clean energy transition through solar technology.

Expanding into Solar Energy

As the nation accelerates toward renewable energy adoption and Net Energy Metering (NEM 3.0), Unitrade is evolving to meet modern energy demands.

The launch of solar.unitrade.com.my represents our commitment to helping homes, businesses, and industries harness sustainable power through reliable, efficient, and scalable solar systems.

This expansion aligns with our long-standing vision — to provide comprehensive infrastructure solutions that serve both the materials that build, and the energy that powers, Malaysia.

Our Mission

To support Malaysia’s journey toward a cleaner, more sustainable future by delivering solar technologies that combine reliability, performance, and local expertise.

We aim to make solar adoption accessible to every household, commercial building, and industrial facility — helping reduce carbon emissions while ensuring energy independence for the next generation.

What We Offer

A rooftop solar panel array connected to a smart photovoltaic system designed for efficient energy generation and monitoring in Malaysia.

Smart PV solutions

Unitrade offers an integrated Smart PV system built on Huawei’s FusionSolar technology. This all-in-one solution includes hybrid inverters, lithium battery storage, module-level monitoring, backup power, and AI-based energy scheduling via EMMA. Designed for seamless compatibility and real-time visibility, it enables efficient solar adoption for residential, commercial, and industrial users under Malaysia’s NEM 3.0 programme.

Battery storage systems (LUNA series)

Unitrade’s LUNA solar panel battery storage system uses Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO₄) cells in a modular architecture that scales from 5kWh to 30kWh. These systems include built-in optimisers and deliver over 40% higher energy throughput than conventional designs. Ideal for both homes and businesses, LUNA enables peak load management, backup power, and full SELCO and GITA compliance support for larger installations.
